Recordkeeping and organisation of Monasteries and Churches

The Holy Synod has issued the following decrees:

·      Each diocese and monastery is to collect the names of those who have been sentenced and forbidden, and provide a statement to the Synod Secretariat, so that all members of the Synod are informed of these matters.

·      It is a requirement for every Bishop to collect all property deeds for all the churches of the diocese and all real estate. In the Archdioceses, this is also required in addition to keeping copies of the deeds in multiple places.

·      Establishing church membership in every diocese.

·      Work to prepare draft constitutions for church councils, taking into consideration, the relationship between the priest and Church Council to be taken into account, and between the Council and the endowments warden.
