Approval of formation of Committee for Review of Religious Books

The Holy Synod has agreed to the request of the Faith, Education and Legislative Committee to form an official Committee for the Review of Religious Christian Books and to approve and register books [as they appear] and to provide a certificate of approval [blessing]. This is in order to distinguish the writings that are in accordance with the spirit and doctrine of the Church from others. It is requested that the Christian and Church Bookshops adhere to only sell these approved books without exception. This is in order to protect the integrity of the Church teaching.
