Formation of Committee for Review of Rite of Baptism

The Committee has created a specialist [sub-] Committee for the Review of the Rite of Baptism, and in particular framing rituals suitable for those who joined from other denominations. His Holiness the Pope said we shall preserve the old rituals regarding non-believers. However, the changes will be regarding those born to two Christian parents. His Holiness requested that the Ritual Committee study what can be said in each type of baptism: baptism of a non-believer, baptism of newcomers from other Christian denominations, and baptism of children born from Orthodox families.
