No part of the Creed to be omitted

The Holy Synod has decided that no part of the Creed should be omitted at any time of the year, including Holy Week. It is the hymns that change according to the occasion. This is in accordance with what His Holiness Pope Shenouda III pointed out: The Orthodox Creed has been set down by the Fathers in the Ecumenical Councils, and no part can be omitted as a form of ritual variety for occasions.
