Text to be followed in liturgies

The following recommendation has been accepted: “all men of priesthood in Egypt, in their ritual prayers, must adhere to the text of the Great Holy Euchologion, the edition of Hegumen Abd Al-Masseh Al-Masoody (Coptic-Arabic), except for amendments approved by the Holy Synod. As for the diaspora, they should adhere to the directions of the Mother Church regarding which translations to use. All external countries are to use the language that is suitable for them, however in relation to the Arabic and Coptic text, they must adhere to the same [text] that is adhered to in Egypt.”
