Sharing of information between monasteries and the Patriarchate

The Committee discussed what was previously decided by the Holy Synod, and what was confirmed by His Holiness the Pope at the meeting on 18/06/1994, regarding the following:

1. The importance of a connection between the monasteries, to exchange information, to make a complete file for each of the monasteries with the names of the monks, and information about them, and to send a copy of it to the Secretariat of the Holy Synod.
2. Likewise, a special file should be prepared for each monk, who were subjected to penalties, or were the subjects of complaints.

Accordingly, the Holy Synod decided that copies of the file of every monk subjected to penalties, or came against complaints, be delivered to the Secretary of His Holiness, in addition to that sent to the Holy Synod Secretariat, in order for this information to be available at the Papal Residence upon request, in implementation for the instructions of His Holiness the Pope.
