Various meetings of the Annual Orthodox Creed Conference

Under the guidance and under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, the Faith, Education and Legislative Committee holds an annual conference of service leaders from all dioceses.

The first meeting was held in 1998 in the Monastery of St. Demiana in the Wilderness on 01/10/1998 on "Contemporary Protestant Activity and How to Face Protestant Infiltration in the Churches"."

In 1999, the second meeting was held in Cairo, at the St. Mark's Hall, in St. Rewis area (for the churches of Cairo and its suburbs only).

In the year 2000, the third meeting was held in Cairo, in the Church of St. Marks in Shubra (for the churches of Cairo and its suburbs only).

In the year 2001, the fourth meeting was held in the monastery of St. Abram, in Azab, in Fayoum, between 17-19/09/2001, entitled "As for us, we have the mind of Christ."

In the year 2002, the fifth meeting was held in the monastery of St. Abram, Azab, Fayoum between 30/09 to 2/10/2002, titled “in doctrine showing integrity" (Titus 2:7). It was dedicated to confronting the heresy of the Adventist. His Holiness Pope Shenouda III from Cairo spoke through the video conference for the first time in Egypt about the integrity of the teachings, and the lecture was followed by an opportunity for dialogue with the attendees."

His Holiness the Pope said in the session of the Holy Synod that as many as possible should benefit from the lectures at the conference, through for example, publishing books containing these lectures, or cassette tapes or video recordings.

It was mentioned in the report of the Faith, Education and Legislative Committee that priests and consecrated servants, [other] servants, consecrated female servants, and [other] female servants will be invited to attend the conference.

In 2003, the sixth meeting was held in the monastery of St. Abram, in Azab, Fayoum, between 21-25 September 2003, entitled "One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism" (Eph 4:5). His Holiness the Pope lectured on the video conference about the Orthodox concept of ecclesiastical unity and answered the questions of the attendees."

In 2004, the seventh meeting was held in the Monastery of St. Abram in Azab, Fayoum, from 26-30 September 2004, entitled "Truly Orthodox and Evangelicals". His Holiness the Pope lectured on the features of the Orthodox interpretation of the Bible."

In the year 2005, the eighth meeting was held in the monastery of St. Abram, Azab, Fayoum, between 11-15 September 2005, entitled "Contemporary Faith and Ideological Challenges". His Holiness the Pope lectured on salvation in the Orthodox concept."

In 2006, the ninth meeting was held in the monastery of Abram Abram, in Azab, Fayoum, between 18-21 September 2006, entitled "Do not believe every soul" (1 John 4:1)."

In the year 2007, the tenth meeting was held in the monastery of St. Abram, Azab, Fayoum, between 17-20 September 2007, entitled "The Church... between the past, the present and the future."

In the year 2008, the eleventh meeting was held in the Monastery of St. Abram, in Azab, Fayoum, between 22-25 September 2008, entitle "The Holy Spirit"."

In 2009, the twelfth meeting was held in the Monastery of St. Abram, in Azab, Fayoum, between 28 September to 1 October 2009, entitled "Attempts of sectarian conquest (types, expulsion, how we face it)"."

In the year 2010, the thirteenth meeting was held in the monastery of St. Abram, in Azab, Fayoum, between 20-23 September 2010, under the title "Our Orthodox Patriarchal and Biblical Doctrine."
