Holy Synod Committees in 1979
In order for the Holy Synod to play an effective role in the service of the Church, it has been decided to form committees derived from the Holy Synod as follows:
- The Secretarial and Oversight Committee.
- The Monastic Committee.
- The Rural Services Committee.
- The Apologetics Committee (Committee for Responses to Questions of Faith).
- The Committee for Rituals of Women’s Services.
- The Committee for Service of Upper Egypt.
- The Ritual Committee for Church Publications.
- The Committee for Social Development and Vocational Training.
- The Public Relations Committee.
- The Committee for Social and Medical Care.
