Warnings against non-Orthodox groups, writings and interactions

The Holy Synod approved the following recommendations of the Faith, Education and Legislative Committee:

1. Warning against the activity of the Magdy Toson non-Orthodox group.
2. That the Church's clergy refrain from writing introductions or comments to any non-Orthodox books, so that the Church’s children do not read them and are influenced by the non-ecclesiastical teachings in addition to the sometimes Protestant manipulation in the introductions so that they do not publish them in the same original text to achieve their own purposes.
3. That the spiritual retreat homes of our Churches are not given to any non-Orthodox group. This would otherwise prohibit the Church's children from using it, and it gives the opportunity for non-Orthodox education to reach the members of our Church.
