Supervision of the Diocese of Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra by HG Bishop Bishoy

His Grace Bishop Mettias has sent a letter directed to His Holiness the Pope, the text of which His Holiness the Pope read himself attached at Appendix No. 4-AIt includes a request for supervision by Bishop Bishoy over the Diocese of Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra and to collaborate with Bishop Mettias. His Holiness the Pope said, “I have no objection in principle for His Grace Bishop Bishoy to be a supervisor of the Diocese, and His Grace Bishop Mettias his aide.” His Holiness the Pope asked the members of the Holy Synod, “does anyone have an objection to this?” When no one objected, His Holiness said, “no objections”. Then His Holiness announced, “therefore, this is to be considered a decree”.
