Agreement to ordain 5 further Bishops for the Church of Eritrea

Five heads of monasteries in Eritrea were chosen for ordination as bishops, and they were sent to Egypt to undertake studies and to get acquainted with the Coptic Church, and these candidates were chosen by popular elections.

The five candidates entered before the meeting began and met the members of the Holy Synod. The Synod approved the ordination of those elected to the episcopate.
