Impermissibility of Orthodox and non-Orthodox marriages

The Holy Synod agreed to the recommendation of the Diocesans Affairs Committee that it is not permissible to allow the establishment of an Orthodox marriage and a non-Orthodox marriage ceremony, as a matter of courtesy, because courtesy is not permissible in matters of belief.
