The Synod approved the proposed ritual of the Sub-Deaconess, and His Holiness the Pope said that the laws of the Apostles speak of the consecration of Readers, Sub-Deaconesses and Deaconesses, and the rituals shown are not out of the ordinary attached to Appendix No. 17-C
