Use of restreat centres and encouraging service

  1. Taking into consideration that our Churches' houses are not rented to non-Orthodox denominations for them to conduct retreats and activities, as well as taking into consideration that Orthodox Priests and Churches do not rent non-Orthodox Churches for meetings or spiritual retreats. This must all be announced to the Priests.
  2. Discussing the means utlitised by the sects to attract people to them, and to benefit from understand this, while observing and following up the hesitators and alerting them out of love about the severity of sectarian thought.
  3. Working to raise the levels of the retreat houses of our Orthodox Churches.
  4. Establishing a centre for youth activities and retreats, and providing appropriate entertainment facilities.
  5. Encouraging the believers to give alms to the Patients of Hope, as well as spreading the culture and thought of organ donation.
  6. The importance of making discounts in homes where the Pastoral Care Committee meetings are held, while the Diocese will bear the expenses of its representatives participating in the meetings and financially support the meeting.
