Training for servants in understanding the Faith

1. It was decided that the Pastoral Care and Service Committee should draft a list of consecrated Deacons. The Committee chose a special [Sub-] Committee to draft this list and present it to the Committee for study. All of this will be under the supervision of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III and under the guidance of His Holiness. The Synod has agreed to this.
2. The Committee stated that two seminars will be held:

a.     A limited workshop to train Priests and servants interested in caring for prisoners and their families.

b.     A wider seminar to study the topic "Explaining the Faith". It was agreed that this seminar would be held in the Monastery of St. Bishoy, and the invitation to convene it would be sent at the appropriate time by the Committee's Chairman, God willing. The seminar would include an explanation to simplify the facts of the faith, and respond to doubts."
