Establishment of the Annual Monastic Conference

Given the importance of unifying the monastic, intellectual and spiritual system in the Coptic monasteries, an annual meeting will be held chaired by His Holiness the Pope, joined by the heads of monasteries, its secretaries, and the officials of the sectors present in it. This meeting will be an opportunity to learn about the activities of the monasteries, their production, their needs, and also to exchange experiences and information among them.

The Synodal Monasteries Committee shall arrange this meeting, in coordination with the Secretariat of the Holy Synod and in coordination with the Secretary of the Pope.

It was decided that this meeting will be held for the first time in the first week of the Great Lent for a period of 3 days.
